Empire Financial was formed by Richard Konecky, a successful developer and investor, in 1976, initially as a Real Estate Investor and Financier, and quickly expanded in mid-1985 into a National Investment Banking Company providing Construction and Land Lending on Commercial and Single-Family Real Estate.
After the S&L crash in 1991, Empire expanded into
this void providing Permanent Loan and Bridge Loan financing, for sale or refinance, for the huge national Homebuilder market and Investors needing cash out for their next projects, while purchasing properties at severely reduced prices, then, and in the 2008-2011 recession.
In 2001 Empire expanded into the secondary market by establishing and keeping thru today, correspondent relationships with Banks, Insurance Companies, REITS, and Family Funds, allowing large Institutional Lending and participations in Joint Venture financing with greater yield returns to all, while servicing all the loans with a seasoned operating staff.
In 2012, Empire expanded into the off-balance sheet Lending Platform, facilitating monetization of Letters of Credit, Purchase Order Financing, Business Expansion Lending, and marketing for Intellectual Property companies, national expansion, and monetization needs.
